If you have ever read Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales in the Middle English (or tried to) and are up to the challenge, I dare you to read this and not sit in slack-jawed amazement at the sheer brilliance of it.
I read Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales in Middle English back in University. I remember my face turning red, not understanding most of it...I am always upset when I can't understand something.
I was blessed with a couple of friends who helped me through it and I ended up getting a good mark in that English course...but it was tough going for a bit. But their help was key to understanding the beauty of that work.
