The gates of death opened to You from fear, O Lord!
When the guards of hell saw You they were afraid,
for You demolished the gates of brass and smashed the iron chains!
You have led us from the darkness and the shadows of death, and have broken our bonds!

¡Cristo ha resucitado de entre los muertos,
La muerte por la muerte pisoteando,
