Excited...

Tomorrow (Lord willing), I'll go up to Denton for the introductory class in an ongoing course in NT Greek that is being offered out of St. Maximus' taught--free of charge!--by our very own EYTYXOΣ. Very much looking forward to this. The books shown above shall be our texts.

And I am most looking forward to having you in the class, Pedro, since you have skills - you know, like language skills, teaching skills, choir skills, reader skills, etc. ;^)

(Seriously, I'll probably be picking your brain after awhile re: profitable pedagogical practices for best imparting the course content, since you have been trained and educated as a language instructor, and I have pretty much relied on my instincts, as well as what has worked in past classes.)

Would you tell him hello from me? And enjoy the class! Whohoooooo.

Free! My goodness.

Happy learning, and happy teaching EYTYXOΣ!

THIS is exactly what I am looking for. Too bad you are all so far from me.

Next summer I finish my undergrad degree. Following that, I hope to find and enroll in a class that will teach me New Testament Greek.

You are truly blessed. I'll be interested to monitor your progression and see what 'hints' if any you can pass along.

As the teacher of this noble group of future Greek readers, I covet your prayers for me and for them:
1. That I convey the material in a clear and understandable manner; and
2. That they learn it with both understanding and enthusiasm.
It's a long-term sacrifice and commitment of time and effort on everyone's part, and I want to do my best to make everyone feel at the end that it was worthwhile, and more than worthwhile.

Be assured of prayers ascending from Down Under. And, from what I read in your comments, I am sure you'll be clear and understandable -- and have good humour throughout too! God bless.
